MTP Group Reports Solid Profit in 2025 and Announces a Strong Event Lineup for the Current Year
More than 65,000 companies placed their trust in the MTP Group in 2025, translating into strong financial performance, an attractive event portfolio, and a reinforced position as a leader in the meetings industry in this part of Europe. The company closed 2025 with a gross profit of PLN 1.7 million. Notably, despite the absence of real estate sales—which had provided one-off boosts to results in previous years—this year’s profit from core operations was significantly stronger than in prior periods. This demonstrates that MTP Poznań EXPO is steadily rebuilding its position in the meetings industry.
Last year saw more than a twofold increase in EBITDA, which reached PLN 34.5 million, confirming the company’s high operational efficiency. The MTP Group’s financial position remains very stable—in 2025, the company did not use working capital loans at any point, and surplus cash has been invested in secure financial instruments such as term deposits and treasury bills.

Every second trade fair in Poland takes place in Poznań
According to company data, MTP Poznań EXPO accounts for 51% of Poland’s exhibition market. In 2025, a total of 59 trade fairs were organized, targeting both businesses, industry professionals, and individual consumers. The total exhibition space amounted to 289,225 square meters, and the number of exhibitors exceeded 65,000 companies.
Nearly 700,000 people attended the MTP Group’s proprietary events. In addition, numerous events were hosted in partnership or co-organized by the Group, including congresses, conferences, events, concerts by major artists, and sports competitions. Altogether, approximately 1.5 million participants visited the MTP Poznań EXPO grounds.
Autumn full of new developments: from finance to global partnerships
This year’s program features as many as 67 events—from key trade fairs for the Polish economy and industry exhibitions, through prestigious international congresses and world-class sporting events, to concerts, festivals, and entertainment events that attract tens of thousands of participants from Poland and abroad each year.
Professional audiences were drawn to Poznań this year by events such as Meble Polska, BUDMA, and SAWO, which help build the global recognition of Polish industry. Through the Hosted Buyers program operating alongside these events, professionals and business partners from around the world come to Poznań, turning trade fairs into a real platform for international business connections.
We continuously work on developing our trade fair portfolio. Among the new additions at MTP Poznań EXPO will be Invest Cuffs—the largest conference in this part of Europe dedicated to personal finance, saving, and investing—scheduled for this autumn. One of the ways we expand our program is through international cooperation and bringing globally established brands to Poznań, as is the case with MARCA POLAND. This joint project is organized by BolognaFiere, the organizer of Marca by BolognaFiere, and the MTP Group. Starting next year, in cooperation with the Italian organizer Veronafiere, a new project—Progetto Fuoco Poznań—will debut, targeting the entire wood biomass sector. The event will be held alongside BUDMA, the MTP Group’s flagship trade fair dedicated to innovation in construction.

Record attendance at MTP events
The first months of the current year have been highly successful for the MTP Group in terms of interest from both business representatives and individual visitors. The key contracting event for the global furniture industry—Meble Polska—featured 400 companies and brands. Buyers from nearly 70 countries, including Europe, the United States, Canada, India, and the United Arab Emirates, traveled to Poznań.
This year’s editions of the Poznań Book Fair and the Education Fair were also a major success, attracting more than 72,000 literature enthusiasts and hosting over 600 authors—writers and illustrators. Europe’s largest fishing trade fair—Rybomania—welcomed more than 42,000 visitors seeking new products and inspiration. Meanwhile, thanks to the Poznań Motor Show, the capital of Wielkopolska became Europe’s automotive hub for four days. The event attracted nearly 95,000 visitors, and together with the Automotive Technology Fair, filled as many as 10 exhibition halls.

Challenges for the coming years
The MTP Group is dynamically evolving, focusing on the development of modern congress formats and “confexpo” models. This represents a strategic shift from traditional trade fairs toward highly specialized business meetings that combine exhibition space with top-level expert content. Work on new event formats is concentrated on key sectors of the modern economy: IT, new technologies, energy, and sustainability.
The foundation of these changes lies in established brands that have already gained market recognition, such as INSECON (cybersecurity), MOVE (alternative mobility), EnergyON Summit & H2POLAND (energy and hydrogen technologies), GreenPact (sustainability), Labs Expo (laboratory technologies), and Common Future (Ukraine Cooperation Congress). These prestigious congresses attract strong interest from senior executives of major corporations, public administration, academia, business leaders, and world-class experts.
Investment in new, content-driven formats is a strategic step for the MTP Group toward strengthening its leadership position in Central and Eastern Europe, while for Poznań it guarantees prestige and tangible economic benefits from hosting the region’s most important economic debates.

Congress and event development
The second pillar of the MTP Group’s development is venue rental and the organization of events for external organizers. A key highlight of this year’s calendar is the 30th International Congress of the Polish Cardiac Society—an event of major importance, bringing together the elite of Polish and global cardiology.
Another important event is the Congress of the Polish Medical Society of Radiology, reinforcing the MTP Group’s position as a trusted partner for the medical community. In November, Poznań will become Europe’s capital of food technology. The conference of the European Federation of Food Science and Technology (EFFoST) will bring approximately 800 experts, scientists, and practitioners from across Europe, representing key areas of innovation in the food sector.
At the same time, preparations are underway for IAC 2027—the International Astronautical Congress—which will return to Poland after 60 years. This historic event for the country will attract thousands of business leaders, scientists, and representatives of all major global space agencies. IAC 2027 will provide a major opportunity to promote Poland’s achievements in space technologies and innovation.

Culture, immersive exhibitions, and festivals
By the end of 2026, more than 50 concerts will take place at MTP Poznań EXPO venues, primarily in the Earth Hall, the multimedia Pavilion 7A, and other spaces. Ahead of us is also Pyrkon—one of the largest fantasy festivals in Europe. The latest edition attracted as many as 66,000 fans, effectively creating a “city within a city.”
This year, Erste Letnie Brzmienia—one of the most exciting music projects in Poland—will also take place at MTP Poznań EXPO. The lineup includes leading Polish artists spanning pop, alternative, and energetic sounds, including Kaśka Sochacka, Vito Bambino, Monika Brodka, Grzegorz Turnau with Orchestra, and Ralph Kaminski.
For those seeking immersive visual experiences, two exceptional exhibitions are recommended. “Romantic Chopin” offers a multisensory journey through the life of Frédéric Chopin, presenting classical music in a modern and engaging way. The second is “Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition”—an emotional journey aboard the world’s most famous ocean liner, featuring artifacts recovered directly from the wreck resting on the ocean floor. A dedicated VR zone provides full immersion, blurring the line between past and present.

Trade fairs as a strong driver of Poznań’s growth
Events organized by the MTP Group have a measurable impact on the local economy. Financial data shows record hotel occupancy during major trade fairs and congresses, while a report by Mastercard on Pyrkon confirms nearly a 23% increase in spending by participants at local businesses. The largest increase was recorded in the immediate vicinity of the exhibition grounds, although spending also benefited the broader urban economy.
Data from the Poznań Local Tourist Organization further confirms the impact of MTP Poznań EXPO on higher hotel revenues and local economic growth. For example, the one-day revenue of Poznań hotels during IMPACT CEE in 2025 reached €802,291—almost 3.5 times the annual average.
Among the events generating the highest average hotel room rates in the business standard category (3 stars and above), alongside IMPACT (EUR 198.63) and Pyrkon (EUR 168.04), are trade fairs organized by the MTP Group, including ITM Industry Europe, BUDMA, Meble Polska, and DREMA. For instance, hotel occupancy during this year’s Meble Polska reached a record 99.1%, meaning that nearly all available hotel rooms in Poznań were booked. A similar situation occurred during the POLAGRA trade fair.
