Adrian Joyce at Budma!

20 January, within the Architecture Day thre will be a lecture on: "Situation in ecological construction in Europe - challanges preventing the neccesity of transformation in construction sector" by Adrian Joyce from Architects' Council of Europe, Brussels.

A_Joyce_July_08.jpg Adrian M Joyce is Senior Adviser at the Architects' Council of Europe (ACE), based at the ACE Secretariat in Brussels.  His role involves monitoring the work of the EU Institutions, with a view to distilling those aspects that are of importance to the architectural profession and to the maintenance of a quality built environment.  He advises the ACE and its Member Organisations on policy formation and development.

He is a professionally qualified architect who, having graduated from University College Dublin in 1984, spent 17 years in private practice (working in London and in his native city, Dublin) before getting involved full-time in architectural policy and was, for 18 months, the Practice Director of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland.  He also holds a part-time teaching post at the Higher Institute for Architecture (St. Luc) in Brussels teaching Construction Technology.
