INSPIRATION FOR ARCHITECTS |
A magnet for architects were the events and exhibitions related to the organized for the first time at Poznań construction fair Strada di Architettura project. It was a special path connecting three zones (KNOWLEDGE, INSPIRATION, EXPERIENCE) located in various places of the exhibition, where numerous events featuring invited world-class architects were held. Special guests of the Strada di Archittetura were: professor Dietmar Eberle, a lecturer at the famous ETH Zurich and Aron Losonczi, a graduate of the Royal University of Fine Arts in Stockholm, who in 2001 patented, and then refined the idea of the transparent concrete (samples of the transparent concrete were also presented during Budma).

CONTRUCTION TECHNOLOGIES OF TOMORROW |
The leading theme of the twenty-first Budma edition was "Construction of the future - free your imagination". The exhibition and the program of events were focused on the presentation of the newest solutions - we do everything so that Poznań construction fair plays an active role in determining the directions for the building industry, being an effective platform for exhibitors to promote their innovative products, and serving the public as the largest and most complementary presentation of the construction technologies of tomorrow.
Budma involves not only exhibitor stands, but also numerous interactive special exhibitions, shows and workshops. BUDSHOW 2012 exhibition presented a modern house featuring low rates of the built-in energy (energy used to manufacture building materials), the final energy (used to heat the interior and domestic hot water), and the primary energy derived by the building from the environment. As usual, the best young generation craftsmen from around the country presented their skills during the Polish young roofers and young floorlayers championships. Special exhibition of Modern Carpenter Workshop and a window installation workshop were perfect opportunities to learn about the newest tools and technologies.
Other innovative and important topics covered by Budma program included revitalization of buildings, thermal efficiency improvement, the use of nanotechnologies, high-rise building construction, interior acoustics and computer-aided design, construction and operation of buildings or building information modeling.
